The Bethlehem Town Hall Rotunda Gallery will host “4 Realist Painters,” featuring the work of James A. DePietro, Jack Dickerson, Alvina P. Herron, and Keith Vogrin, from Feb. 20 to March 27, 2026. An opening reception will be held Sunday, Feb. 22, from 2 to 4 p.m., with an artist talk at 3 p.m.
The exhibition highlights the representational artwork of four artists, each with a distinctive approach to realistic subject matter. Their work spans nature studies, human forms, still lifes, and landscapes, showcasing both technical skill and personal interpretation.

DePietro’s oil and acrylic paintings use series-based compositions to explore sociopolitical themes, blending figurative imagery with vibrant backgrounds inspired by Pop Art. Herron’s gouache and watercolor pieces offer photorealistic depictions of plants and animals, celebrating the natural world. Dickerson’s acrylic and oil works emphasize hyperrealism, layering paint to create precise, lifelike images. Vogrin’s neo-romantic style combines textured brushwork with rural and urban scenes to evoke atmosphere and emotion.
The exhibition is sponsored by the Bethlehem Fine Arts Commission and is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 10 E. Church St., Bethlehem. Admission is free.
