The Easton Main Street Initiative has launched a Downtown Easton Employee of the Month program, recognizing outstanding local workers who contribute to the vibrancy and community spirit of the area. Lauren Givnin, bar manager at 3rd & Ferry Fish Market (56 S 3rd St, Easton, PA 18042) , has been named the inaugural recipient for February 2026.
Givnin, a fixture at the restaurant for more than 12 years, was honored for her dedication to both her work and the local community. Last year, she organized a happy hour fundraiser that raised over $10,000 to support a local family facing medical expenses.
“Downtown Easton’s success is built on the dedication and heart of the people who work here every day,” said Julie VanOsdol, Main Street Manager. “This program is our way of shining a spotlight on the individuals who create memorable experiences for residents and visitors alike. We couldn’t have chosen a better person than Lauren to launch this initiative.”
Nominated by James Wickemeyer, manager at Vault Brewing Easton, Givnin received more than 30 testimonials from colleagues, customers, and community members highlighting her warmth, professionalism, and tireless community involvement.
“Not only does she help to run one of the biggest restaurants in the downtown area, but she does that five days a week while juggling a 3-year-old at home and supporting so many people in her home base,” Wickemeyer said.
The Employee of the Month program will continue monthly to recognize individuals who exemplify exceptional service and community engagement in downtown Easton. More information and nominations can be submitted at eastonmainstreet.org/easton-employee.
