The Greater Easton Development Partnership and the City of Easton have announced a reimagined format for the Easton Winter Village for the 2026 holiday season. Originally created in 2020 to provide outdoor retail huts in Centre Square, the event is expanding its footprint to encompass the entire downtown district.
The updated structure reduces the concentration of vendor huts in Centre Square to make room for an artist market featuring local makers. A rotating roster of artists, makers, and specialty merchants will participate throughout the four-week run to offer changing shopping options each weekend.
Additional festival elements will be placed throughout downtown Easton, including food and drink huts, fire pits, live music, and football tailgates at the South 3rd Street parking lot Winter Garden. Expanded holiday lighting, North Pole-themed directional signage, and a Holiday Trolley will help visitors navigate between local storefronts, restaurants, and attractions.
The season will highlight Small Business Saturday alongside Easton’s 75th annual Peace Candle Lighting celebration on November 27. Participating downtown businesses plan to host in-store activities and special events across the four-week period leading up to a finale weekend before the end of the year.
Julie VanOsdol, manager of the Easton Main Street Initiative at GEDP, noted that the changes aim to build on downtown Easton’s growth by driving foot traffic to brick-and-mortar retailers. Further details regarding participating businesses and event schedules will be published through the event’s website and social media channels.
