The Slambovian Circus of Dreams will bring its Grand Slambovian Halloween Ball to the Mauch Chunk Opera House in Jim Thorpe on Saturday, Oct. 24. This year’s theme is “A Night at The Circus.”

Doors open at 7 p.m., and the show begins at 8 p.m. at the opera house, located at 14 West Broadway. Tickets are $32.

The event listing describes the night as a mix of music, spooky tales, and circus-themed fun, with “Special Circus Ghosts” and a walk down the Midway. Audience members are invited to wear circus costumes, and costumes are welcome throughout the venue.

The Slambovian Circus of Dreams plays original acoustic rock and is led by Joziah Longo. The band’s sound blends the roots influence of Bob Dylan and The Band with the mystical sound of The Beatles, David Bowie and Pink Floyd. UK’s Maverick Magazine has described the music as “the cool end of Americana.”

The band is billed as the “Best Band” of the Hudson Valley and has performed at festivals, theaters, and smaller venues across the country.
