As the global focus shifts toward the FIFA World Cup 26 this summer, ArtsQuest has announced an expanded lineup of youth soccer initiatives as part of SoccerFest 2026 at SteelStacks.
Running from June 11 through July 19, the programming includes competitive tournaments, skill-building clinics, and educational field trips. The events are designed to engage young players while celebrating Bethlehem’s history as a foundational site for American soccer.
“Soccer has always been part of Bethlehem’s identity, and SoccerFest is an opportunity to highlight its impact in the region by investing in the next generation of players,” said Curt Mosel, Chief Operating Officer at ArtsQuest.
The festivities will take place alongside live FIFA World Cup 26 watch parties, connecting local youth to the global tournament. The programming also highlights the legacy of the Bethlehem Steel Soccer Club, an early 20th-century team that won 11 national championships.
Local and regional soccer organizations are partnering with ArtsQuest to lead the sessions. Chris Branscome, CEO of Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer, which serves more than 110,000 young athletes, noted that the event helps introduce the sport to new families.
“By creating experiences around the sport, we can inspire more young athletes to get involved, connect families to the game, and help build the next generation of players,” Branscome said.
Greg Ramos, Executive Director and Sporting Director of Penn Rising XI, added that the club is focused on preparing players to thrive both on and off the field. Coaches from these organizations will co-lead the youth clinics and 3v3 tournaments scheduled for the festival.
Registration is currently open for youth clinics, tournaments, and field trips. Parents and guardians can register participants under the age of 18 through the ArtsQuest website.
