Cedar Crest College has announced the launch of its Executive Doctor of Business Administration program, set to begin in Fall 2027 in Allentown. The degree is the first executive business doctorate offered in the Lehigh Valley region.

The 45-credit program is designed for working professionals seeking advanced leadership roles, executive consulting opportunities, or college-level teaching positions. Delivered online in an asynchronous, part-time format, the degree path is structured to be completed in three years.

The curriculum focuses on strategic decision-making, organizational design, innovation models, risk assessment, stakeholder communication, and emerging technologies. Students will complete an applied research dissertation investigating real-world business challenges and translating evidence into organizational strategies.

Cedar Crest College allows students to apply for up to nine credits through Prior Learning Assessment based on qualifying professional leadership experience. Applications for the inaugural Fall 2027 cohort will be accepted through the start of the fall semester.

Cedar Crest College operates as a private liberal arts college located in Allentown, Pennsylvania. The Executive Doctor of Business Administration degree expands the institution’s post-graduate offerings for working adult learners.
