¡Sabor! Latin Music Festival to celebrate 15th anniversary at SteelStacks
ArtsQuest has announced the 15th anniversary celebration of the ¡Sabor! Latin Music Festival, scheduled to take place from Thursday, June 25, through Saturday, June 27. The three-day event, presented by Highmark Blue Shield, will be held on the ArtsQuest Campus at SteelStacks and features a lineup of music, cultural traditions, and community ceremonies.
The festival’s “quinceañera” milestone coincides this year with Soccerfest and viewing parties for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. “As ¡Sabor! Latin Music Festival celebrates its 15th anniversary, it continues to solidify its reputation as a premier celebration of Latin Heritage in our community through its captivating music and authentic cultural flavors,” said Nurys Henriquez-Perez, Client Manager at Highmark Blue Shield and member of ArtsQuest’s Latin Programming Committee.
Festivities begin Thursday, June 25, at 7 p.m. with a free screening of the film “Salsa” at the Frank Banko Alehouse Cinemas, featuring a live performance by Clave Legacy. On Friday, June 26, the schedule includes a “!Mega Happy Hour!” in partnership with La MEGA Radio and the annual Puerto Rican Flag Raising Ceremony. The ceremony will include the U.S. and Puerto Rican National Anthems alongside community speakers before evening musical performances begin.
The free festival will also feature a variety of traditional food from regional vendors. Attendees can visit established staples such as Holy Infancy Church, Hogar Crea, and La Frikitona, as well as a new vendor, La Cocina del Abuelo. ArtsQuest Programming Director Shayna Super noted that the event remains rooted in the community, showcasing the “rich traditions, music and heritage that make Latin culture so vibrant here in the Lehigh Valley.”
