Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom (3830 Dorney Park Rd, Allentown, PA 18104) plans to hire more than 2,000 seasonal employees for its 2026 season, which begins May 8, park officials announced Tuesday.
The hiring effort is part of a coast-to-coast initiative by parent company Six Flags Entertainment Corp., which aims to fill more than 50,000 positions across its North American parks during National Hiring Week, scheduled for Feb. 14-22.
“As we prepare to kick off the 2026 season, there’s a lot of momentum at Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom,” said Makeva Brodie, the park’s human resources director. She cited recent investments in new attractions and enhanced guest amenities as contributing to what she called an exciting time to join the team.
The park is offering positions across a range of departments to match varying skills and interests. Applicants must be at least 15 years old.
Starting wages begin at $11.50 per hour, with select positions starting at $14.50 per hour. Team members receive flexible schedules, free park admission for themselves and friends, in-park discounts, and paid training.
Applicants are encouraged to apply through the company’s Rapid Hiring Program at sixflagsjobs.com, which allows candidates to complete interview questions online. The park will also host a virtual hiring event during National Hiring Week.
Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom opens for the 2026 season on May 8.
