Legendary Colombian salsa orchestra Grupo Niche will headline the preview night of Musikfest 2026 at the Wind Creek Steel Stage at PNC Plaza on July 30.

Formed in 1979, Grupo Niche has become one of Latin music’s most acclaimed orchestras. Their 1990 album Cielo de Tambores featured hits such as “Una Aventura,” “Busca por Dentro,” “Se parecido tanto a ti,” “Sin Sentimiento,” “Cali Ají,” and “Debiera Olvidarla,” earning widespread recognition across Latin America.

Over four decades, the group has earned multiple Latin Grammy Awards and Anglo Grammy nominations, including wins in 2020, additional Latin Grammy wins in 2023, and an Anglo Grammy nomination in 2026. Known for energetic performances and a celebration of Colombian culture, Grupo Niche brings rhythm and passion to audiences worldwide.
