The Greater Easton Development Partnership announced an expanded live music initiative for its 2026 event season, integrating high-profile regional and national acts into the city’s signature festivals and racing events.

The move signals a strategic effort by the GEDP to solidify Easton’s reputation as a premier arts and culture destination. The programming includes a new block party for the Easton Criterium, a country-focused season opener for the Live At The Falls series, and a major musical lineup for the nation’s 250th anniversary celebration.

“Easton punches above its weight — you see it in the quality of the restaurants, the small businesses, the community events,” said Jared Mast, executive director of GEDP. “Music is another piece of that puzzle.”

The season highlights include:

  • Easton Criterium (May 24): The premier cycling event will now feature a block party headlined by the Philadelphia-based brass band SNACKTIME and New York City-based SKORTS.
  • Live At The Falls (June 4): The free riverside concert series at Scott Park kicks off with rising country artist Leon Majcen, who has toured with the Turnpike Troubadours. Majcen will be supported by local mainstay Jesse Bardwell.
  • Heritage Day (July 11): This year’s event doubles as a regional celebration of America’s 250th anniversary. Organizers expect one of the strongest music lineups in the city’s history for the South Third Street festivities.

Joe Dimeck, GEDP manager of special events and promotions, noted that the decision to bring back artists like Majcen reflects a commitment to elevating the series with talent that resonates with the community.

The expanded schedule also includes increased musical offerings at the Easton Public Market and various street festivals throughout the summer. GEDP officials stated that the 2026 season aims to use live music as a unifying force to drive economic development and community engagement in the downtown core.
