Dorney Park and Wildwater Kingdom will host a seasonal event celebrating Caribbean and Latin American culture this summer in South Whitehall Township. The program, titled Viva La Fiesta, is scheduled for select Saturdays and Sundays from June 20 through July 26. The festival activities will begin at 5:00 p.m. each event day and run until the amusement park closes.
The seasonal festival schedule will pause on July 4 and July 5 for a separate patriotic entertainment event called Star-Spangled Nights. During the operational weekends for Viva La Fiesta, the park will integrate live musical performances, specialized food menus, and family activities alongside regular ride operations. According to park manager Kim Solis, the programming is designed to highlight regional cultural traditions.
The entertainment lineup features a Latin jazz fusion ensemble named Manteca Blue and The Latin Corner, which incorporates Afro-Caribbean, Colombian, and African musical influences. A dance company called Rumbamena will perform traditional salsa and samba choreography. Each event evening concludes with an interactive musical performance segment called the Wepa Summer Fiesta.
The specialized food and beverage menu includes regional items such as carne asada tacos, chicken tinga tacos, empanadas de picadillo, and tostones served with mojito sauce. Dessert options feature tres leches funnel cake and bolinhos de chuva. The beverage selections include a mangonada tequila lemonade, a piña colada rum limeade, and a nonalcoholic Caribbean colada.
The amusement park is also introducing a monthly membership option that establishes recurring access starting at 8 dollars per month. The new program provides entry to the South Whitehall Township facility as well as regional destinations including Six Flags Great Adventure, Wild Safari, and Hurricane Harbor New Jersey. The membership covers general admission to the park’s standard roller coasters, water park attractions, and seasonal public events.
