The multi-platinum rock band Candlebox has finalized the schedule for its upcoming “Can’t Quit You” North American tour. As part of the 32-date headlining run, the group will perform a concert at Penn’s Peak in Jim Thorpe on Sunday, October 25.
The autumn trek marks the band’s most extensive headline tour in several years. The overall traveling cycle is scheduled to begin on Thursday, September 17, at The Pageant in St. Louis, Missouri, before wrapping up on Friday, October 30, in Sayreville, New Jersey.
Original guitarist Peter Klett has rejoined the lineup for these performances after a 10-year departure from the group. Frontman Kevin Martin stated that the reunion with Klett has altered the creative trajectory of the band as they enter their next musical chapter.
The touring lineup features a rotating roster of supporting artists who have spent more than three decades in the alternative music industry. The select guest performers appearing across the tour include The Mountain Goats, Sponge, The Verve Pipe, Sweet Water, and American Blonde.
The upcoming performance follows the 30th anniversary milestones of the band’s self-titled 1993 debut album, which achieved quadruple-platinum status. Tickets for the local concert date went on sale to the public on Friday, July 17, at 10:00 a.m. local time through the band’s official website.
