ArtsQuest will host its first-ever Fantasy Ball on July 18, transforming the Musikfest Cafe into “The Enchanted Garden” for an immersive evening of music, dance, and mystical themes.
The event, scheduled from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. inside the ArtsQuest Center at SteelStacks, is inspired by the growing popularity of fantasy realms, powerful courts, and mystical intrigue.
“ArtsQuest is always looking for new ways to bring people together through creativity and shared experiences, and the Fantasy Ball will provide an opportunity for fans to step into the worlds they love and connect, dance and enjoy a magical night!” said Addyson Young, ArtsQuest programming manager.
The evening will feature live music and dancing led by Bethlehem native Fiona Gillespie, a renowned dance caller and musician who has appeared at venues ranging from Lincoln Center to local folk gatherings. The event will also include a Cyr Wheel performance by Matthew Ossiander, who has performed with the apparatus for nearly a decade across the country.
Additional attractions include roaming performers, curated vendors, a best-dressed contest, and themed food and drink offerings. Attendees are encouraged to wear fantasy attire.
VIP tickets include early entry, a drink ticket, and a professional photo. The ball is an 18-and-over event.
Tickets are currently on sale through the ArtsQuest website, with advance purchase opportunities available for ArtsQuest members.
