Penn’s Peak has announced an upcoming live concert event titled Dio Rules, a musical tribute celebrating the career and legacy of heavy metal vocalist Ronnie James Dio. The performance is set for Friday, October 30, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. The production highlights a specific decade of music spanning from 1975 to 1985 when the singer fronted the bands Rainbow, Black Sabbath, and Dio.
The touring musical ensemble consists of several established rock musicians who perform the definitive song catalog. The lineup features lead vocalist Andrew Freeman, who also fronts the group Last in Line, alongside guitarist Angus Clark of the Trans-Siberian Orchestra and drummer Matt Starr, who has performed with Ace Frehley and Mr. Big. The resulting 90-minute live concert includes prominent rock radio tracks such as Holy Diver, Heaven and Hell, Rainbow in the Dark, and Man on the Silver Mountain.
A percentage of the financial proceeds from every ticket sale will be donated directly to the Ronnie James Dio Stand Up and Shout Cancer Fund. The dedicated charitable organization was founded in memory of the late musician to fund medical research and combat the disease that caused his death.
Public ticket distribution for the concert officially opened on Friday, June 26, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. local time. Admission passes are available for purchase online through standard Ticketmaster outlets or in person at the venue box office and the on-site Roadies Restaurant and Bar. The physical box office and restaurant locations accept walk-up purchases only and do not process phone orders.
Tickets are on sale now via Ticketmaster.
