The Easton Farmers’ Market will temporarily move back to its original location in Centre Square on Saturday, July 11, 2026. This one-day relocation is part of Easton’s Heritage Day festivities and aligns with the city’s participation in the nation’s 250th anniversary celebration.
The special event marks the 274th birthday of the market, which was originally established in Centre Square in 1752. Though it now normally operates out of Scott Park, the market is the longest continuously operating open-air farmers’ market in the United States.
More than 50 local farmers, food producers, and artisan vendors will line Centre Square and the surrounding streets from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The inventory available for purchase will include seasonal produce, locally raised meats, cheeses, flowers, baked goods, and handcrafted products.
The historical celebration will feature live music from performer Lilly Moss alongside interactive market bingo games. Attendees can also access complimentary birthday cake while supplies last, and free pup cups will be distributed to canine visitors.
The broader Heritage Day activities will continue throughout downtown Easton after the farmers’ market concludes for the day. The afternoon schedule includes historical reenactments, organized tours, family activities, and live entertainment.
The temporary market activation is sponsored by Gross McGinley. Following this weekend event, the regular market schedule will continue at its standard locations, running every Saturday from May through December and at the West Ward Market on Thursdays from May through September.
