Musikfest 2026 concluded its 10-day run and preview night in Bethlehem, drawing 1,260,630 attendees from July 30 through August 9. The turnout marks the third-highest attendance figure in the festival’s 43-year history.

Organizers reported record-setting weekday crowds, including a Monday attendance increase of 6.2 percent over 2025 and a Tuesday record surge of 15.06 percent. The event generated over $108.3 million in economic impact for Bethlehem and the surrounding Lehigh Valley region.

Ticket sales reached 52,890 for headliners at the Wind Creek Steel Stage at PNC Plaza, including sold-out shows for Yellowcard with Taking Back Sunday and “Weird Al” Yankovic. The festival feature set also included performances by Grupo Niche, Russell Dickerson, John Mulaney, Third Eye Blind, Train, T.I. with DaBaby, Bailey Zimmerman, Parker McCollum, and AJR.

Across 15 free stages, more than 400 artists delivered over 500 free performances. Homegrown talent from the Lehigh Valley made up 34 percent of the free lineup, alongside artists representing 20 states and 10 foreign countries.

Festival operations were supported by up to 1,000 volunteers, over 50 food vendors, and 180 sponsors. Free transit options saw heavy usage, with LANTA bus services carrying 25,904 riders across festival routes and Trans-Bridge Lines shuttling 4,737 guests from satellite parking lots.

The event featured non-musical programming as well, including the second annual SoberPlatz alcohol-free venue, a three-day music industry conference, and 12 comedy shows at Comedyplatz. ArtsQuest has scheduled the next iteration of the event, Musikfest 2027, to run from August 6 through August 15, 2027.
